Shirtless Hugh Jackman springs into action as he hits the beach in St Tropez with family .
Hugh Jackman lived up to his action man credentials during a beach outing in St Tropez today.
The Australian actor turned Hollywood star took to the beach with his family where he made a splash in the waters, showing off his muscular physique.
Doting daddy Hugh, 42, enjoyed some quality time with his children six-year-old Ava and Oscar, 11, as they larked around in the ocean and lapped up the sunny weather.
His wife, producer Deborra-Lee Furness, 56, was also there but kept covered up in a black T-shirt and leggings.
Hugh, who has been voted Sexiest Man Alive, has even brought along his beloved pet dog on the European holiday.
After splashing around in the sea and building sandcastles, the New York-based actor was pictured taking the mutt for walkies along the beach.
Hugh will be seen in the action 3D film Real Steel later this year alongside Lost star Evangeline Lilly.
Set in the near future, the movie is about humanoid robots who do battle in the ring and Hugh is tasked with training one up for a big fight.
The Australian hunk is also planning to give a series of concerts in London during breaks from starring in the film version of Les Miserables.
Shooting on the movie, which is being made by Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper, will begin in the UK next February.
Hugh will play the central role of former convict Jean Valjean.
The actor has just completed a short run of his In Concert show at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, accompanied by two Broadway performers and a 17-piece orchestra.
The cracking show, developed by director Warren Carlyle and producer Robert Fox, saw Jackman giving a tour de force performance, singing classic numbers from Oklahoma!, Carousel, Dreamgirls and the Peter Allen catalogue.
At a recent matinee, at which Hugh's son Oscar took to the stage to play the didgeridoo, Jackman spoke to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, saying: 'I wanted to create a show where I can’t wait to do it.'
He found he had a window of opportunity after filming on the next Wolverine film was put back to October.

The style of Hugh Jackman
Considered one of the world's sexiest men by women, Hugh Jackman is certainly one of the best examples to be fixed. Attractive, successful, and elegant, the actor succeeds not only in his films but among the world's deadliest.
We continue with the men who imitate you if your goal is to win women. They melt in your bones and you will fall phenomenal. So do not hesitate to copy your style to win fans wherever he passes. On this occasion, we look at Hugh Jackman.
The actor has starred in successful action films like X-Men, Wolverine, or more romantic as Australia, with Nicole Kidman. For his premieres, choose simple outfits with white shirt and bow tie or tie. A look that also chose to present the Oscars in 2009, Burberry clothing and shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo. Premieres and galas for not requiring label, Jackman Scots opted for gray suits with a scarf around his neck, just as elegant as if it were in tuxedos.
Another option chosen by the actor for his public appearances, is the rock or leather jacket, sunglasses and his irresistible smile, that adds appeal and makes women drool for him halfway around the world thanks to the cocky air. To go for a walk with his wife Debora-Lee Furness and enjoy the short break between filming with his family chooses a comfortable look, with Converse sneakers, a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt.
The actor is always kept in shape, so it is very common to see him dressed in sports attire. To keep fit and look great body Jackman chooses jogging along the beach or on the streets of their city with a complete look of Adidas or just a swimsuit

Hugh Jackman in ‘Real Steel’
A new full-length trailer for the sci-fi boxing story Real Steel, starring Hugh Jackman, was released May 10, looking like a combination of The Fighter and Iron Man.
The footage shows Jackman as a washed-up boxer who turns to promoting fights between 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots who have taken over the ring. But his character’s huge battling hunks of metal end up in the scrap heap.
When Jackman tries to train a sparring ‘bot’ for the World Robot Boxing Championship, he takes his last shot at a comeback and reconnecting with his son.
Also stars Dakota Goyo (young Thor in Thor), Anthony Mackie and Evangeline Lilly (The Hurt Locker), Hope Davis (American Splendor), and Kevin Durand (Robin Hood).
The film is directed by Shawn Levy (Date Night, Night at the Museum films), who departs from his usual comedies and romantic-comedies with Real Steel. It is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis.
The film opens October 7 in North America, the UK and Hong Kong, rolls out to Singapore and France the next week, and Germany, Sweden and Argentina in November.

A temptation Hugh Jackman.
Hugh Jackman could not resist the French culinary delights during a brief stay in Paris with his wife, Deborah Lee Furness. The actor, who is thoroughly prepared to play 'Wolverine' in the series 'X-Men', eat six times a day, following a diet rich in protein and low in fat to increase the volume of your muscles, in addition to training daily to shape the figure of the superhero. However, the actor has made an examination of conscience like Twitter and has confessed his offense, has said he will compensate for his regime.
HUGH JACKMAN-FORCED OUT OF ANTI-POVERTY CHALLENGE
Australian actor HUGH JACKMAN has been forced to opt out of a charity challenge he is supporting because he is unable to cut down his food and drink rations while he is appearing in his one-man stage show.
The X-Men star has thrown his weight behind the Global Poverty Project’s Live Below the Line drive, which asks those taking part to highlight world poverty by attempting to survive a week on a daily budget of just £1.
Supporters have to get through seven days between 2 and 6 May (11) on limited means, but Jackman won’t be able to take part in the challenge himself because he is due on stage in San Francisco, California to present his one-man musical show.
He says, “I know it sounds a little hypocritical – during that week I’m doing a show on stage where I sing and dance for two hours so I think it might be a little irresponsible of me to faint in the middle of a show. But I totally support it…
“I don’t mind saying I’m not doing it, because for people who want to do the challenge I’m totally thrilled and supportive of it and I think it’s fantastic and there’s 50,000 people around the world doing it.”
Jackman will instead give up some of life’s other luxuries – sugar, coffee and using his computer.
He adds, “I will be going without certain things… I want to encourage people like me, who can’t for whatever reason, to do something symbolic… I’m going to give up my computer for a week, which actually secretly I kind of like, that’s not so hard for me.
“So I am going to do two things which are really bad for me which is give up coffee, because I’m an addict, and I’m going to give up sugar as I’m an addict.”
Hugh Jackman, in Performance at The Curran Theatre runs from 3-15 May (11).
